School principal Sharira Padayachy said the initiative to involve fathers in the celebration was well-received, highlighting the importance of the father-child relationship, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

“At our school, we believe in honouring the incredible role fathers and father-figures play in shaping the lives of our children. Celebrating Father’s Day allowed us to say thank you for the love, strength, and guidance they provide daily. It was a privilege to celebrate with the men who are building the characters of our future generations.”
She said the event was a huge success, with dads and children alike enjoying the quality time together.
