Originally from Pietermaritzburg in Kwazulu-Natal, she blends her professional skills with a deep-seated love for cooking.
She said she channels her father’s precision and passion into her cooking, combining rustic roots with bursts of colour and calming creativity, even under pressure. “I entered the contest to learn from renowned chef Zola Nene, who judges the hopefuls each week, and to take strides toward my dream of opening my own restaurant.”
She said securing the top 6 place has not come easily, citing emotional moments and the pressure. “Eliminations are hard on me as I do not want to exit the show and go home, nor do I want any of my fellow contestants to leave. However, it is the nature of show.”

Raymann also expressed that a lot of her emotions come from losing her brother, Kyle, on December 4, 2020, from suspected food poisoning.
She said The Taste Master SA is shot in Cape Town, which was her brother’s favourite holiday spot, and where the two shared a lot of memories.
She said her participation continues to strike a chord with viewers, inspiring many to vote and cheer her on.
Raymann stands out for her heartfelt, vibrant cooking style and steady progression in The Taste Master SA.
With her sights set on opening a restaurant and learning from the best, she’s definitely one to root for this season.
