Zwartkops set the stage for season-ending clash at Kyalami
Engines roar at Zwartkops this October, but the real fireworks will explode at Kyalami for the season finale.
The countdown to the grand finale at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit has officially begun, with the Southern African Endurance Series (SAES) gearing up for its penultimate round – the Four Hours of Zwartkops – on October 11.
While Zwartkops Raceway will host a day of high-octane action, the bigger story is what lies ahead: the showdown at Kyalami, where titles, pride, and history will be on the line.
The Four Hours of Zwartkops is set to shape the championship picture, tightening the stakes before the season reaches its dramatic conclusion at one of the world’s most iconic tracks.

Fans can expect more than just endurance racing at Zwartkops, with a packed programme featuring the SA GT National Championship, the SA GT Super Trophy, the GT Cup SA, with Porsche machines sure to draw plenty of attention, and the National Bike Challenge, where superbikes will add extra speed to the spectacle.
The results from Zwartkops will be decisive in setting up the final battle at Kyalami. Every point earned and every lap completed will matter as seasoned racers and bold newcomers push to secure their place in the championship standings before the curtain comes down.
Adding to the excitement, this year’s penultimate round will also feature an Oktoberfest twist, offering fans not only trackside drama but also family-friendly fun, food stalls, and even karting sessions, giving spectators a chance to experience racing for themselves.

SAES acting CEO, Liyema Letlaka, said the Four Hours of Zwartkops was one of the most anticipated rounds of the season.
“It’s not only critical for the teams chasing championship glory, but it also brings fans closer to the excitement of motorsport. By including multiple championships, superbikes, and the Oktoberfest festivities, we are creating a full-throttle celebration of endurance, speed, and community,” said Letlaka.
With the finish line in sight and Kyalami beckoning, the road to the championship crown promises nothing less than fireworks.
