Vehicle crashes into shop fence after Midrand collision

Emergency services rush to the scene after two vehicles collide at the corner of Scale End and Old Pretoria Main Road.

Emergency services are currently attending to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Scale End Street and Old Pretoria Main Road in Midrand, where two vehicles appear to have collided on May 29.

One of the drivers reportedly sustained injuries in the crash.

Paramedics, alongside Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) officers and National Traffic Police, are on the scene assisting and managing traffic flow.

One of the vehicles also crashed into the fence of a nearby shop following the collision.

The cause of the accident has not yet been confirmed and investigations are underway.
