Summerhill Preparatory School recently embraced Africa’s vibrant spirit as they joyfully celebrated Africa Day on May 25.

The remarkable learners adorned themselves in stunning cultural attire and energetically danced to African music rhythms during the school’s second break.

Summerhill learners Tanyaradzwa Mamombe, Splendide Ngenyi, and Yadhav Sahadeo.

The palpable sense of pride that permeated the Summerhill community was truly heart-warming.

In anticipation of this special day, each class poured their creativity into creating African flags using an array of art materials.

The efforts of every class were commendable and excitement soared as the competition for the ultimate winner unfolded.

Summerhill Preparatory School learners Khanyisile Ngoma, Mikyle Govender, Palesa Tlala, Katleho Tsekoa, Gomolemo More, and Pushkar Seshamsetti.

The challenge filled the air with exhilaration and anticipation with school teachers Phumelele Mtshali and Leigh-Ann Williams as the event coordinators.

Grade 4 learners surpassed all expectations with their awe-inspiring creation, leaving the school community proud African ambassadors.
