Region A Sports Council to be launched
THE chairperson of the Johannesburg Sports Council, Junior Ramovha, has invited stakeholders to attend a launch on 15 March.
“The region A sports forum will launch the sports council for Region A. This is a milestone… which will [play] a significant role in ensuring the promotion and development of sport and recreation in the region.”
Ramovha added that all stakeholders in the sports fraternity in Region A are invited to participate and to witness the historical launch of the ‘Voice of Sport’ in Region A.
Region A Sports Council acting chairperson Jeffrey Moloko said, “The launch is an exciting initiative for us in Region A. Any project that builds community welcome.”
The launch is on 15 March at 10am at the Ivory Park Multi-purpose Centre.
