Ivory Park cop is best female goalie

Ivory Park police spokesperson Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela said, “Constable Lebee Makaleng was awarded a trophy for Best Provincial SA Police Service Female Goalkeeper and named Best Provincial Football Champion.”

She was part of the SA Police Women’s football team that played against Vaal University of Technology on 31 May in Vanderbijlpark .

“Constable Makaleng was the goalkeeper in the match, the police beat the university team 2-0,” Sekgobela said.

Makaleng won another trophy in 2013 for Best SA Police Female Goalkeeper after the team won several soccer matches against other police teams in other provinces.

She was unavailable for comment as she is on leave and her number was unavailable.
