Third round glory

The soccer tournament which started on 28 June is set to conclude at Rabie Ridge stadium on 20 July.

Association chairperson Mike Tshipu said the first match of the final would begin at 10am and all community members were welcome to attend.

The fixtures for the final on 20 July are:

•  U11: Dribbling versus Leeds

•  U13: Dribbling versus Landam

•  U15: Dribbling versus Vultures

•  U17: Makang versus Dribbling

•  Seniors: MDF versus Makang

The results from the third round of matches, held on 12 and 13 July in Mayibuye were:

•  U11: Leeds 2 Forgive 0; Dribbling 2 Landam 1

•  U13: Landam 2 Leeds 0; Dribbling 4 Tshidi 0

•  U15: Dribbling 2 Classic 0; Landam 1 Vultures 1. Penalty shootout: Vultures 4 Landam 2.

•  U17: Dribbling 0 Phomolong 0. Penalty shootout: Dribbling 4 Phomolong 3; Vultures 0 Makang 0. Penalty shootout Makang 4 Vultures: 3.
