Unearthing new soccer talent

MIDRAND - Mayibuye and Kaalfontein Football Club is looking for new talented young stars in preparation for the new soccer season.

They are looking for players for the U11, U13 and U15 division. The trials will take place on the weekends of 14 and 21 February.

These trials are also in preparation for the upcoming game against the School of Excellence which has been organised by the Department of Sport and Arts.

Mike Tshipu, the manager of the football club, said, “We are looking to unearth young and fresh talent and also take kids away from the streets.”

The trials will take place in the following townships including Mayibuye, Ivory, Kanana and Rabie Ridge and the game against the School of Excellence will take place on the 28 February.
