A fun run for charity
MIDRAND - CMH Midrand Nissan recently hosted a 5km fun run and purchased boerewors rolls and drinks supplied by Midrand Round Table, with Yenzani Children's Home in mind. The run started and finished at the car dealership's offices on New Road, Midrand.
Marketing leadmaster at Midrand Nissan, Valana Orpen said they invited their clients to take part in the fun run for the charity event. She added, “We chose Yenzani because of all the work they do for children.”
A couple who are clients of Nissan, Hluphi and Mbongeni Bhengu gladly took part in the fun run. They said, “We were happy to take part as it is all for charity, we are doing our part.”
Anthony Mcphee from Midrand Round Table confirmed that, “A total of R950 was raised on the day and through Midrand Round Table, the car dealership made the donation to Yenzani.
The children home’s founder Sanne Mirk said they appreciate the support. “A big thank you to CMH Midrand Nissan and Round Table for choosing Yenzani as the fun run funds recipient.”
