Midland Primary make presence felt in 2017 Midrand Primary Schools Soccer League
MIDRAND – Midland Primary and High School U14 soccer team defeated Blue Hills in the McDonald's Cup qualifiers.
The 2017 Midrand Primary Schools Soccer League season kicked off with a bang at Midland Primary and High School.
There are about 64 players between the ages 10 to 18 years old participating in soccer at the school. The U11 and U13 teams are participating in the league where they are receiving stiff competition from Sagewood Primary and Halfway House Primary. Midrand’s U14 and U18 teams are competing in the High School Soccer League for the Midrand cluster.

The school’s head of department, Sharira Padayachy said the U14s showed their grit in the McDonald’s Cup qualifiers where they ended as cluster winners after beating Blue Hills 3–1.
