Stingers host Midrand Junior Club Rugby games

MIDRAND – Tshuma Stingers Rugby Club hosted the Midrand Junior Rugby Club games.

Tshuma Stingers Rugby Club hosted the Midrand Junior Rugby Club Games with much success at the Midrand High School fields on 28 July.

The games saw about 200 boys and girls between the ages of seven and 18 attend the event, and participate.

Stingers were joined by the Golden Lions Rugby Union affiliated members and the University of Johannesburg’s Junior Rugby Club for a fun-filled day that celebrated the vibrancy of the youths while encouraging the young ones to live healthy, productive and disciplined lives.

“Parents, teachers and coaches had their hands full taking the kids through various drills, aimed at improving their skills and their knowledge of rugby, and seeing them square off against one another in well-observed contests,” said Ndumiso Tshuma the founder of Tshuma Stingers Rugby Club.
