Inter-house gala makes a splash
NIETGEDACHT – The young swimmers of the HeronBridge College preparatory made quite a splash during their annual inter-house gala on 28 January.
Lotter, Travis Donnelly and Jamie Holroyd, who won the honour for being the best
athletes on the day.
The swimmers of HeronBridge College preparatory splashed their hearts out when the school hosted its annual inter-house gala on 28 January.
The children were divided into four teams for the day in order to compete against one another.
The teams were Starling, Barbet, Turacco and Weaver.
The Weaver team was declared the overall winner, while Turacco was awarded the spirit cup for their enthusiasm throughout the day.
The best swimmers during the tournament were also awarded with the prestigious junior and senior victrix and victor ludorum awards.
These were given to Danni Nogueira, Callan Lotter, Travis Donnelly and Jamie Holroyd.
A fun day was had by all.
