Summerhill Preparatory School netball player gears up for Gauteng trials

Summerhill Preparatory School has expressed pride in U13 netball player Tshiamo Letswalo who was selected to take part in the Gauteng Trials.

Spokesperson for the school Teressa Oates said that Tshiamo was first selected to take part in the district trials on 16 March in Morningside, where she went up against some of the best school players in the area.

From her performance at the district trials, she was selected to take part in the U13 Gauteng team trials which will be held on 16 April at Hoërskool Dr E G Jansen Rietfontein in Boksburg.

Summerhill Preparatory School netball coach Ntombizodwa Khanyile said that Tshiamo has a promising netball future. “It was not by mistake that she was chosen as the players’ player of the season for the U11’s last season.

“From Districts she has been chosen for provincial trials, it came as no surprise, she continues making us proud.”
