Six Total Football Excellence play the Bill Steward tournament

A team consisting of two of TFE players attained a third-place finish, an outstanding achievement that deserves high praise according to Theodora Crozét.

Initially, seven players who ply their trade for Waterfall City-based Total Football Excellence (TFE), took part in the Bill Steward Soccer Tournament.

Unfortunately, one player was unable to play due to an injury he sustained before the games commenced, leaving six of his teammates to do the duties in the field of play. The tournament was held at Camp Discovery from July 7 to 11.

Theodara Crozét, the TFE club owner, said the players were selected at school trials for various district teams, which participated in the Johannesburg Primary Schools Football Association (JPSFA) district tournament.”Our esteemed players are recognised for their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts both on and off the field. They consistently demonstrate exceptional commitment and strive for excellence within their respective teams. As a result of their relentless hard work, they have achieved remarkable success,” said Crozét.

She said in the tournament, the six players exhibited exemplary skill and determination, capturing the attention of spectators and competitors alike.

Crozét added that this achievement holds profound significance for their team as a whole.
“It reinforces the belief that our players and team are capable of competing at a high level. Participating in these tournaments offers invaluable exposure and growth opportunities for our players. It allows them to showcase their skills on a larger stage, competing against formidable opponents from diverse backgrounds. Such experiences not only enhance their abilities but also foster camaraderie and team spirit among our players. Exposure to these tournaments also opens doors to new possibilities,” she added.

Crozet extended heartfelt congratulations to all the players for this impressive feat.
