Toyota South Africa drives equestrian excellence in partnership with Kyalami Park Club
Unlike other sports, the equestrian calendar is active all year round, requiring an incredible amount of energy, effort and enthusiasm from owners, riders, grooms, judges and administrators.

Kyalami Park Club is excited to announce that 2025 will be The Year of the Legend in partnership with Toyota.
This year promises to elevate equestrian excellence with larger prizes, more participants, and exceptional entertainment, all reflecting Toyota’s commitment to perfection.
Following last year’s hugely successful Toyota Triple Crown, the stakes have been upped for 2025, with the Olympic discipline of dressage being added to the showjumping portfolio.

The equestrian calendar operates year-round, demanding immense energy and dedication from owners, riders, grooms, judges, and administrators. Thousands are driven by their passion for horses and a relentless pursuit of improvement.
At the launch on February 13, dressage legends Adriaan van Wyk, Karen Keller, and Helen Laros joined showjumping stars Gail Foxcroft, Tony Lewis, and Barry Taylor.
Heather Mpofu, event director at Kyalami Park Club, expressed the profound impact of Toyota South Africa Motor’s (TSAM) unwavering support on the horse community.

“Their backing empowers Kyalami Park Club to elevate the disciplines of both showjumping and dressage to new heights. Aligned with our goals and vision for equestrian sport, this is the year in which we celebrate our founding members, the legends present among us, and those who promise to lead the way in the years to come,” Mpofu said.
“2025 is Kyalami Park Club’s Year of the Legend… We will honour all horses, riders, grooms, officials, volunteers, and staff—our legends—who shape our sport. We will pay tribute to past legends, celebrate current ones, and look forward to the future with Toyota.”
Kyalami Park Club will host the 2025 Toyota South African Dressage Championships from September 15-21. In support of this prestigious title, Toyota will award the 2025 champion a stylish Toyota Starlet Cross.
Glenn Crompton, vice president of marketing at TSAM, remarked, “At Toyota South Africa, we believe in the power of sports to bring people together in an impactful manner. Our continued partnership with the Kyalami Park Club aligns with Toyota’s commitment to excellence and with the club’s vision of encouraging and inspiring all role players in the equestrian community to push past their limits.”
The showjumping series includes the Toyota Easter Festival, the Toyota Midrand World Cup Qualifier, and the historic Toyota South African Derby, all hosted by Kyalami Park Club.
Running from Easter to October, these events will challenge the best and showcase legends through dedication and professionalism. This year’s showjumping champion will trade their saddle for a brand-new Toyota Hilux D/C Legend.
