Harry Gwala FC defeats Supa Strickers in Top 4 clash

A striking 2-0 win by Harry Gwala FC at their home ground against Supa Strickers.

The Top 4 tournament had four teams participating in the tournament, including Harry Gwala FC vs Supa Strickers and Team Daniel vs Blue Bucks at Allandale sports ground.

The first game was between Harry Gwala FC and Super Strickers.

The match started strong with both teams giving it their all, but it was Harry Gwala who went into the break 1-0 up.
In the second half, Supa Strickers’ defence was strong, but it wasn’t even enough to keep Harry Gwala from scoring another goal, to give them the 2-0 win.

“I am so happy with how we played. Our confidence was high, and we were able to match the tempo of the game. I’m really happy that we won 2-0. We are just now waiting for the finals,” said Vaja.

Supa Strickers Midfielder Thabo Nkgelepang said he is proud of how they played as a team and said he learned some things from their opponents.

“We played very well; the only thing we were not able to do was score goals, but overall, I’m proud of how our team played.

“I saw how the other team maintained their movement, pace, and their build-up is also strong, so I learnt that from them,” added Nkgelepang.
