Midrand CPF year-end message

MIDRAND – The Midrand CPF wishes the local community a wonderful festive season.

Chairperson of Midrand Community Policing Forum Steven Johnstone writes:

As we head into the madness of the festive season, we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our community members, security companies, emergency services, and police for their support and guidance throughout a very tough year.

From donations of food parcels, to cleaning up streets, accidents and holding our hands through the many traumas of 2020, we are blessed and thankful to each and every one of you.

We plead that we all remain vigilant of our surroundings and security. Take nothing for granted and make sure your security is up to scratch in your homes and businesses.
Covid-19 is far from over, and to make sure we have an open economy, please stick to the guidelines.

Be responsible when out socialising as well as the number of people you socialise with, remember curfew is at 12 midnight. The authorities will be out in full force to enforce this curfew. We all need to keep our wits about ourselves and do what is best for our country and our people.

We wish each and every Midrand resident a safe, healthy festive season, enjoy quality time with family and friends, and do keep our emergency services in your thoughts over a very tough period.
