Watch: Lovely moment as mom and lion cubs reunite

Six lion cubs were overjoyed when their mother showed up at feeding time.

A lioness was spotted in the MalaMala Game Reserve, which shares an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park, with something other than hunting on her mind.

The determined yet anxious-looking mother was heading from an open plain to a thickly bushed area – but what was she looking for?

Jaco Joubert, a professional guide at the reserve, told LatestSightings.com that he noticed the lioness had suckle marks on her underbelly.

That was a telltale sign she had cubs, and he figured that if he and his safari group followed her, they could see the little furballs. And so they did, when not one, but six cubs made their appearance – thirsty for milk.
