The youngster previously participated in the Young Rockets’ campaign for the DStv Diski Shield. During this clash, Galaxy put on a strong and sharp display that saw the team playing with purpose. They dominated the match from the first minute of play.
“The guys have been playing extremely well, with a highly-structured and directed style of game. Given their recent, satisfying preseason performances, I am almost certain that the guys are prepared for the forthcoming season. Since the holidays, the guys have been working out, and I can tell that they are all driven to succeed. We are promoting a lot of young people to the senior side, and they are displaying maturity,” said head coach Sead Ramovic after the game.

“The efforts these men are making are greatly appreciated, and we are confident that this year, rather than fighting for relegation, we will finish in the top eight. We have been preparing for the upcoming season according to our belief that early preparation produces good results. Our first game of the new season is against AmaZulu, who we know can be very difficult to beat, but we are lifting our heads and heading there for nothing but a win and collecting the points while it is still early.”
