TS Galaxy discover their scoring boots in 4-0 thrashing of Golden Arrows

The Rockets clinched their first win of 2023.

TS Galaxy ignited at home and thrashed Golden Arrows 4-0 on Sunday evening, January 29.
A rejuvenated Galaxy looked dangerous on the attack from the first whistle.

The Rockets gave Mpumalanga fans at Mbombela Stadium their money’s worth.

Although the rainy weather was not favourable for a soccer match, The Rockets managed to outplay Arrows, earning their fourth win of the season and the first in 2023.

Before the game against the Arrows, The Rockets had only scored nine goals in 18 games.
On Sunday they scored four goals in one match.

The three points collected do not give the Mpumalanga side a safe passage, they still have a long battle ahead as they are just three points above the relegation zone.
TS Galaxy are the only Mpumalanga team competing in the top tier league, giving Mpumalanga soccer enthusiasts the chance to watch the DStv Premiership live at Mbombela Stadium.
The German-born coach, Sead Ramovi?, had to alter his game plan for the Arrows match and started with Orobetse Mongae, Sphiwe Mahlangu and Kolak between the posts.

The Rockets came off a loss on Tuesday January 24 when they handed Mamelodi Sundowns an easy three points, adding loss number five to their streak.
On Sunday, Mongae’s shot in the 29th minute gave Galaxy the lead after they had controlled the game from the opening whistle.

With one minute left before the half-time break, Bernard Parker’s long-range shot put a second goal on the scoreboard and they went to the break leading 2-0.
Sphiwe Mahlangu opened the second stanza with the third goal for The Rockets.

With six minutes of play remaining, Nkosikhona Radabe scored his first goal as a professional footballer to seal the victory and send the Durban team home.
With 22 points, Galaxy have climbed to 10th on the log.
They will play host to Kaizer Chiefs at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday February 5.
