EDM mayor celebrates Women’s Day with prisoners in Mbombela

Hope was instilled in female inmates at the Nelspruit correctional Services when the executive mayor of Ehlanzeni District Municipality, Cllr Jester Sidell, spent the day with them, inspecting their premises, their rehabilitative projects and shared their experiences.

She has promised them that their skills will be utilised by her institution at an elderly community centre within the district once they are released. There was traditional music and modern music to which they danced and ended the day with a sumptuous lunch.
