Police eager to root-out crime this festive season
Police have already started their operations in different areas in town and surrounding areas.”

BARBERTON – Criminals who are still doing crime in this area have been warned
that their days are numbered.
This comes after the local police station announced that it was determined to fight crime as police visibility is expected to increase.
Speaking to Mpumalanga News, the spokesperson Constable Tutu Nkosi indicated that they already started their operations in different areas in town and surrounding areas.”
“Currently we are busy with our operations and it will continue throughout the holidays,” she explained.
It’s known that during the festive season, criminals are targeting business, its believed that during operations, they will play a significant role as in the
town in terms of dealing within business robbery as it’s allegedly believed that
during these holidays, criminals are targeting businesses.
Mpumalanga News learnt that a few weeks ago, business people in that area were facing sleepless nights due to criminals that were targeting stores and restaurants in town.
The Pappa’s restaurant and a furniture store, Furnmate are some of the business
institutions that experienced robberies ever since this month started.
