KNP restaurants to be renovated

Temporary KNP restaurant closure schedule.

The Kruger National Park (KNP) will temporarily close some of its restaurants for renovations from 13 January – 26 March 2014. “We took the decision to upgrade our restaurant in order to improve our service to our guests; however, on behalf of SANParks Management, we apologise to all the guests for the inconvenience that they might suffer as a result of this temporary closure” said Mr William Mabasa, general manager KNP Communications and Marketing.

Information on the progress of the renovations will be available on the official SANParks website. Guests are requested to self-catering during this period.

The schedule for the closure is:
Lower Sabie closed from January 13 to February 25, 2014
Satara closed from January 27 to March 11,2014
Pretoriuskop closed from February 9 to March 25, 2014
Olifants closed from February 19 to April 3,2014
Skukuza* closed from March 1 to April 26, 2014 *The Selati Restaurant in Skukuza will be operational during this period as an alternative for guests.
Letaba closed from March 1 to April 15, 2014
