MSHOLOZI – There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for this informal settlement in Ward 14 as processes of its formalisation into a township are already underway.

This was heard during a community meeting on June 14 at the open land earmarked for the development of a local sport ground. Cllr Kenneth Mkhonto, accompanied by representatives of Mbombela Local Municipality (MLM), Department of Human Settlements, Umsebe Development Planners and various structures and stakeholders, addressed the community on the processes to be followed in order for the village to be formalised.
