MBOMBELA – The department of community safety ,security and liaison has placed a senior manager for road safety education Mr Welcome Nkuna on precautionary suspension in terms of chapter 7 clause 2.7(2) (a) of the SMS handbook with immediate effect .
It’s reported that the department is internally investigating allegations against Nkuna directorate regarding procurement of services without necessary approval from the head of department.
Mpumalanga News learnt that during the suspension he will continue to receive his benefits as he is still an employee of the
department.
The outcome of internal investigation by the department will determine the next course of action.
