3 year old child raped
A three-year old minor was allegedly raped by an unknown suspect, her mother only noticed her baby when she saw a discharge coming from her private parts
TONGA-According to police, the child’s 31 year-old mother from Block B in Nkomazi Municipality got the shock of her life when she saw what looks like blood coming from the minor’s privates part while bathing her.
“She immediately took her to the clinic were doctors confirmed that she was raped. The matter was reported to the police who opened a case of sexual assault,” said Lt Mzwandile Nyambi.
He added that the complainant who is the mother of the victim is undergoing counseling and the victim is undergoing treatment.
The station commander of Tonga Police station has since appealed to communities to watch over their children at all times to avoid such incident to happen. Anyone with information which could lead to the arrest of the suspect can contact Capt Presley Mkhatshwa on 079 501 5053.
