Police spearhead campaign on domestic violence

The suspect has been arrested and is expected to appear at the local magistrate court.

BARBERTON – Local police have vowed to work tirelessly and to educate the community about domestic violence as part of the activities for the 16 days of activism campaigns.


Their campaign kick-started on Friday at Phola Park, Etigulubeni.

This came at the time when residents are still in shock after two minors between the age 3-5 years old were raped during the day.

The suspect has been arrested and is expected to appear at the local magistrate court .


Parents are urged not to send the kids shops alone and to must take the responsibility of making sure that they are always safe .
