PIENAAR – Residents were left in shock after a 21-year-old man was brutally assaulted by an unknown man until he died.
Mpumalanga News learnt that the deceased was relaxing at home with his friend when he was taken by five men who allegedly accused him of stealing a laptop.
They took him to the bushes near Sicelosethu school where they allegedly started to assault him.
Local police confirmed that they received information about a man who has been assaulted in the bushes.Spokesperson of the local police Lt Jabu Ndubane said:
“When we arrived at the scene, we found his lifeless body lying on the floor with visible assault bruises all over the body.
He was only wearing an underwear as we suspect that they took off his clothes.
No one has been arrested in connection with this incident, but we are going to work tirelessly to ensure that we apprehend the suspects.”
