Young people set for galore motivation at UMP

With all the challenges and social ills that young people are subjected to, motivation is a weapon which is crucial to all young stars.

MBOMBELA – With all the challenges and social ills that young people are subjected to, motivation is a weapon which is crucial to all young stars.

For this reason, Beyond Pages, a body structure at the University of Mpumalanga is committed to helping young people cope with the pressures of life by constantly hosting seminars aimed at empowering them.

On Friday, a fun filled seminar has been scheduled to take place at the university where speakers will equip fellow youngsters with inspiration that will hopefully assist them tackle day-to-day life.

Dubbed I Too Can, the main objective of the seminar is to make students and other youth to be aware that the trials they face are not new but are also faced by their peers.

“We have noticed that many students, especially first year students need ample advice on how to survive varsity life and we have a line up of brilliant speakers to load them with such on that day,” said one of the founders of Beyond Pages, Neville Moya.

He added that the youth needed balance in their lives and their organisation was relevant in assisting young students at the university maintain it.

“We get spiritual guidance from church, educational from school and there is a gap on coping with the harsh realities of life and this seminar is what youngsters need.

We invite all local young people to join us as we talk about matters that matter and enjoy entertainment from local artists,” added Moya.

The seminar is scheduled to start at 18:00 at the university auditorium.
