Three killed in a car crash
It is believed that the driver lost control, which led his car to overturn.
MALALANE- Three people were killed instantly last night following a crash on the N4 Toll Road near Malalane.
Mpumalanga News learned that the double cab might have overturned. The deceased include a child believed to be between two and three years old.
Other five injured people were rushed to Shongwe Hospital including the driver. It is not clear what may have caused the accident, but it is believed that the driver lost control of his car.
The police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Mr Vusi Shongwe urged drivers to be more careful, especially when driving over night, as visibility on the road poses a challenge.
He said all road users should assist government to reduce injuries and loss of life on the road. He has meanwhile wished all the injured a speed recovery.
