A case of attempted murder was opened yesterday night after two unknown men shot a woman on her leg.

According to Sgnt Cynthia Mbokodo spokesperson for the station the victim went out of her house to check what was happening following the tripping off electricity in her house. “That was when she was attacked and shot by the suspects who ran away when the woman’s brother came to her rescue,”.

This she says comes two days after a house robbery case was opened from the area. No arrests made in both cases. Mbokodo pleads with the community to work together with police in fighting crime in the area.
