Student arrested for inciting violence at TVET college
Steven Mona briefly appeared in the Acornhoek Magistrate's Court today, on charges of inciting public violence and resisting arrest
A 25-year-old student from Mapulaneng TVET College in Bushbuckridge was arrested following protest action by students from the college yesterday.
Students picketed outside the court during the proceedings.
Mona was released on R500 bail and will appear again in the same court on August 30.
