Tonga police concerned about murders

The motive behind the killing is unknown.

Tonga – Local police raised concerns about the murders that occurred over the past weekend.

According to the information received from the spokesperson of the local police, Capt Mzwandile Nyambi, on Saturday at about 00:00 police received a complaint of murder at Block C.

He said upon their arrival at the scene they found the victim lying on the ground with stab wounds to the head. The motive behind the killing has not yet been established as the suspect is unknown.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by his 35-year-old friend at Naas Gritana Section on Saturday at about 07:30.

When the police arrived at the scene they found the deceased lying on the ground with wounds to the head.
