BUSHBUCKRIDGE – Seven people were killed on Thursday in a head-on collision between an Opel Corsa and Fiat Uno sedans on D3933 Road near Brooklyn.

According to Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison spokesman, Moeti Mmusi those who died include one driver and six passengers who are six males and one female.

The accident happened around 22:00. The five critically injured people were rushed to Tintswalo Hospital for medical treatment.

It is not clear the circumstances that led to the crash but the police are still investigating.
