WATCH: School set alight in Matsulu
The Department of Education is currently monitoring the situation working with the law enforcement institutions.
711 learners of Leftukuthula Primary School who were supposed to write two examination papers had to be sent back home as the school was still on fire.
According to community members, the fire started in the early hours of this morning.

The department says it is disturbed by the incident. “We wonder if those that are behind this understand the cause of the damage they are causing to the future of this country. Letfukuthula – literally means “a reservoir for peace “and it was expected that it will be seen and embraced as such, yet it is on fire” reads a statement.
