Sunbake celebrates its number-one supporter

There was a hive of activities at the Corner Inn Café, Joe Slovo Section in Ngodini, over the weekend when Sunbake Bakery celebrated Gogo Rose Masuku’s 89th birthday.

“She is a reliable and loyal customer who only sells Sunbake bread in her spaza shop. Our research shows that Masuku is the number one supporter of our brand as she sticks to Sunbake, no matter what the price is, hence this celebration,” explained Tiyani Matukana, a representative from Sunbake.

The celebration was marked with dance, music and the presentation of gifts, such as Sunbake freshly baked bread and yummy rolls, caps, juice bottles and carry bags to locals.

Masuku was showered with birthday wishes from Sunbake’s top managers, Alex Kirsten, William Baloyi and the staff, who wished her a long life.

The company boasts of being the only bakery to bake fresh bread right in town.

Competition

To give back to the community, Sunbake is running a Back to School competition in schools around the Ehlanzeni region. The company also runs a Back to School promotion that you can find on the Sunbake plastic bread bags.

Parents and learners are invited to participate in this promotion to stand a chance of winning lucrative prizes for their schools and themselves.

To enter the competition, SMS the unique code found in each plastic bag. Details are printed there. The school with most entries will stand a chance of winning a 7×7-meters mobile classroom. Individuals will also win airtime vouchers and back bags with lots of goodies.
