Hlathi urged members of the public, including the suspects’ families, to assist them with any information that may lead to their rearrest, by contacting Det Sgt Mmabatho Mafate on 072-610-5768.

Alternatively, call the Crime Stop number on 08600-10111 or send information via the MYSAPSAPP which can be downloaded on any smartphone. All information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous. “An internal investigation that will look into how these villains escaped, is under way,” concluded Hlathi.
