IN PHOTOS: Lowveld Walkers members hit the road

Lowveld Walkers tackled the section of road from the Plaston Engen Garage to KMI Airport on Saturday.

Lowveld Walkers tackled the section of road from the Plaston Engen Garage to KMI Airport on Saturday. According to Joseph Mashaba, the founder of Lowveld Walkers, it was not a competitive walk.

“It was one of our usual walking events, without any prizes to be won. We rested over the Easter weekend and will have a competitive event on April 17,” he said.

Mashaba said they were excited about the upcoming event.

“It will be a colour walk, with five participants per group. We will have three things that we will judge: the leading group will get a prize, the most colourful group will receive a voucher, and lastly the most colourful parent with a baby in a stroller or baby carrier will also win a voucher,” he explained.
