It is alleged the minor was raped by an unknown man on May 11. The victim was allegedly further threatened not to say anything if she did not want to be killed.

“She was threatened to be killed and warned not to say anything. She didn’t tell anyone about the ordeal at school, and at home she waited until I got back from work. She told me she was raped inside the toilets by a man carrying a gun and wearing a pair of black jeans,
a blue jacket and a face mask,” the mother said.

She added that she had reported the incident to the school, and was unsatisfied about the safety of learners.
 

Capt Shirley Nsimbi, the spokesperson for the KaBokweni Police, confirmed that they are investigating the matter.
