Passion Master and Phumla are brewing up a magical musical hit
This year has so far proven a great success for Mpumalanga vocalists Passion Master and Phumla Music.
The “Sikhanyisele” hitmakers are trending countrywide and for all the good reasons. First of all, “Sikhanyisele” is on the national top-20 charts on some of Mzansi’s radio stations, including Lesedi FM and Jozi FM.
Secondly, and most importantly, this hit has been nominated in this year’s Samas. “I am happy we met when we did,” said Phumla.
“Meeting Passion Master was such a huge blessing for me. I met him at a time when I was in the darkest place of my music career. It wasn’t doing well at all. You know, I had a recording studio at my place, but I couldn’t make any music. I was stuck, until our paths Phumla and Passion Master perform during Women’s Day celebrations in Middelburg. crossed,” she continued.

Passion Master said he has nothing but respect for Phumla, and that working with her has been a joyful ride.
“Initially, when we met, we just wanted to do a once-off collaboration, but following the response we’ve had from the public, we decided to continue the journey together. I respect her so much, because she comes with vast knowledge, and when you combine that with my experience, you are guaranteed some magical music, which is what we are brewing,” said Passion Master.
“Together, we form a powerful duo.” The two are currently in studio working on their EP coming out in October, and a music video will drop early next month.
“We would like to thank our fans, the media and radio stations from across the province and countrywide. We know that we are nothing without them,” he concluded.
