“The employees were forced into the office by the four suspects. Their movement was constricted with cable ties and they were forced to lie on the floor,” said Capt Kaizer Moela, the spokesperson of Lydenburg SAPS.

According to Moela, one of the victims managed to free herself and ran out of the store, shouting for help. Staff from Exact and the Zimali Cash Loans, next door, assisted her.

An undisclosed amount of money, some G-Star Raw Jeans, T-shirts and other miscellaneous items were stolen.
