The police in Mhala within the Thulamahashe area are investigating a murder case after an unknown man was found dead on Friday in an empty government building in Dumphries B.

The police received an anonymous call in the morning informing them that there was a person who had been assaulted to death in this building.

According to a Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Brig Selvy Mohlala, the police responded swiftly and upon arrival they found an unknown man who was hand cuffed. “He had bruises all over and his body was in the garage of Dumphries B.

He was a well-built black male with a mohawk, trimmed beard, wearing brown trousers, a white T-shirt and Adidas push-in shoes. He was estimated to be between the age of 30 and 40.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that he was assaulted with sticks, a panga and stones. The motive is not yet known at this stage.”
