KaBokweni woman arrested for dagga dealing

A 36-year-old woman was arrested for dealing in dagga on Sunday, March 6, at Newscom in Kabokweni.

The police in KaBokweni arrested her after receiving information about a woman dealing in dagga. Her residential place was searched and a bag of dagga was found. The recovered dagga is estimated to be worth about R10 000 in street value, and the woman was immediately arrested.

The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court today, March 7, and will be charged with being in possession of dagga.

The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lt Gen Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, thanked members of the public for providing information and encouraged them to do so in the future. “Working together with the community we can do more and squeeze crime to zero” said the General.
