Some motorists and people of the village next to Ngodwana helped themselves to the toothpaste scattered all over the road after the accident, and Mmusi condemned such acts. “As a department, we strongly condemn looting during accidents, especially on busy roads like the N4. It also compromises road safety, because motorists are being distracted, and that also constitutes criminality, because what they did was straight theft,” said Mmusi.
