The stage is set for the annual Crowning Miss Mpumalanga.
MBOMBELA – Scheduled for Saturday April 9 at the Communio Auditorium behind i’langa Mall, the organisers of this annual event, said everything regarding the show is 100% ready.
“We are all set,” said Mzimari Productions boss, Gugu Nyarenda. “Tickets are already selling and are selling fast,” she continued, “a perfect venue, fit for such a show, and the line-up we have in store for our patrons, has been secured. The girls (finalists) are also ready to fight for that coveted crown. I can safely say that we are 100% ready.”
Miss Mpumalanga is one of the province’s flagship shows, which gives young women an opportunity to showcase their beauty and talent, while at the same time empowering them.

This year, the event enters its 12th season since it was conceptualised and continues to grow in leaps and bounds. A former Miss Mpumalanga, Ntando Kunene, is one of this pageant’s success stories.
She was crowned Miss SA in 2016 shortly after competing in this event.
“This is not just an entertainment show. Our vision is not just to host the pageant and crown a queen, but to see that these girls are empowered in life so that they can go out there make a difference by empowering other girls, too,” Nyarenda said.

To ensure that they pull all the stops and deliver yet another sizzling show, Mzimari Productions have sourced the services of multitalented and award-winning musos, Makhadzi and the Jaziel Brothers. The after-party, will also be off the hook with a line-up to die for. Normal tickets are selling at R150 and R450 VIP
