Two missing women found alive near White River

They were discovered by the police after they had received a tip-off.

Nondumiso Zenani (25) and Nolwazi Hlabane (26) were found alive in the bush between White River and Chweni after they had been kidnapped in Barberton and Tekwane South on June 5.

A provincial police spokesperson, Brig Selvy Mohlala, said the first victim, Zenani, had been kidnapped while hitch-hiking on the R40 in Barberton on her way home to Carolina. She apparently called a relative on the day and informed her that she had been kidnapped, and the relative in turn reported the matter to the police.
