Health MEC: Mpumalanga Nursing College students need to keep their future in mind

 The Department of Health held an informative event for future nurses.

The MEC for health, Sasekani Manzini, reminded Mpumalanga Nursing College students of their roles in society during her visit on June 23. The purpose of her visit was to spend the day with the students and embark on various activities.

This is part of Manzini’s Youth Month programme.

In her speech she encouraged them to work hard and to focus on their roles in the community.

“The future of Mpumalanga’s people is in your hands. I encourage you to work hard in order to provide the best healthcare for them. All your needs to ensure that your studying continues smoothly will be addressed by the department.”

As part of the programme Manzini planted trees at the nursing college and also joined the students when they donated food parcels at Moses Sihlangu Orphanage in KaBokweni.

Earlier on that day, Manzini, on behalf of Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane, officiated the National Albinism Sector Conference at Nutting House.
