MEC launch campaign to encourage healthy living in Kwazamokuhle

MEC for Health, Sasekani Manzini said this campaign will help raise awareness and empower community members

The MEC for Health, Sasekani Manzini recently launched a campaign of encouraging communities to check their health status even if they feel healthy.

This campaign was launched at Kwazamokuhle location outside Hendrina in Steve Tshwete Local Municipality. The theme of the campaign is “Leaving no one behind, reaching out all and know your health status”.

Manzini said, “The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness on healthy lifestyle to influence behaviour change, improve their health and wellbeing. This is to empower local communities and stakeholders on health promotion matters and more importantly to check health status regularly by visiting their nearest health facility.”
The community members received health services on the day.
