Ehlanzeni debate team to compete against Bohlabela Subdistict

The three debate winners will be representing Ehlanzeni in the finals later this year.

The Regional Road Safety Debates competitions were concluded in Mgobodzi on Saturday July 29.
This programme is run by the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison (DCSSL).

The winners of the competition will compete against the Bohlabela Subdistict team during the finals in Secunda on August 12.
The spokesperson for the DCSSL, Moeti Mmusi, said, “Ehlanzeni will be represented by Riena Ngwenya from Sicelalwati Secondary School in the City of Mbombela, Carol Thabethe from Lugebhuta Secondary School in Nkomazi Local Municipality and Tinyiko Ngobeni from Sintitile Secondary School in the City of Mbombela. Riena scooped the best speaker position.”

The team from Nkangala and Gert Sibande districts will also participate on the day.
The provincial winners will represent Mpumalanga at the National Road Safety Debates finals later this year.
